I'd have gone out and kicked him in the arse just as he squated

One of the chaps I used to work on the recycling round with, would find interesting places to go and take a dump. But never on peoples property. Sadly he is not with us any more as he passed away at a young age lst year. I like to think of him leaping over fences on bits of waste ground.

It's not easy to find places to go to the loo, when your really desperate, especially when your out on the round. It's much easier now for Arch and the crew as they have gone more upmarket on the round, as they do the recycling for the City centre. Plenty of toilets to use there if you need them.

As a lifelong open air toilet fan I know there's nothing nicer than nipping one off behind a wall, especially if there's a lovely view to contemplate. In fact the human body seems to function much better in the squatting position.

I'd be willing to bet that the "drive" concerned here was a half mile long farm track and the bin man actually popped into the woods at the side.

For a fit young man with an active job and probably a good robust diet, I would imagine that nature's call during the working day is a bit of a problem. It is certainly a concern of mine when on overseas business trips as you don't want to be caught out while stuck in a traffic jam in some African city.

A few years ago I was sitting in the car in one such jam in Lagos, gazing idly out of the window when a man a few feet away on the side of the road lifted his robe, squatted down and nipped one off, then stood up and strolled away. A bit like Paula Radcliffe's quick tinkle in the London Marathon, it had happened before I even realised what he was doing.

Open air pooing is all very well, usually along hedgerows there are some nice big leaves to assist in the clean up operation. What on earth did this binman use?
