I am from the Wirral. Not lived there for 58 years but I still miss it.

Yep, miss those years, but wouldn't go back. Too many roots down here in Kent now, brothers, sisters, daughters, sons and grand children.

Used to visit Prescot, when my uncle and cousins were alive, but now it seems just for funerals. I did go back and rode the "10", the same night that Bradley Wiggins rode!

Same for me. I moved to Warrington in '68 as that's were my wife was from.
She has sadly passed away now but my daughter and grandchildren are here and tbf its been a good life here.

No. I did many years ago as my boss was the chairman and employed quite a few players.......but that was in the days of Kevin Ashcroft Mcnicholas.

I bought my 1st road bike off Ron Spencer which is the closest I got.
Ive never been good enough to race.
