Ice Lolly!

A 'Lolly Ice'? What are you wittering on about? That is like saying 'chips and fish', or 'pepper and salt'. 🤷‍♂️

Heck, that's the first thought inducing pic of those I've seen in must be decades. They had a little hole in where you popped the cover of the hole with the taped on straw. If I remember rightly, the terraced house shop next to my junior school sold them frozen. Why?, as whoever bought one had to wait ages to suck out the contents!🤷

I think you are remembering something that looked similar but wasn't actually the same thing.

Jubblies were meant to be eaten frozen, like a Calippo or other ice-pop. You cut the corner off. THere was no straw, or hole to poke it through.

It's lolly ice otherwise a lolly pop would be a pop lolly.

Scouse dad and Welsh mum😂

Snap - Dad from Liverpool - brought up on teh road that the Grand National crosses!

Mum "born in Wales by accident" - her Mum was visiting her in-laws in Wrexham when she was born
My Dad reckoned it was the only time in her life she was early - Her Dad agreed!!

But her family was Welsh
