I owned at least two regals and three or four robins in the distance past due to being restricted to three wheels by my full motorcycle licence,

My first car was a Regal for the same reason. You could remove three of the plugs, the carb and the distributor while sitting in the drivers seat thanks to a series of panels in the cockpit. In fact all you could see when you opened the flap that passed for a bonnet was the radiator.

I had the Supervan 111 and with the front seat laid back there was plenty of room to "Do it", which was quite useful.

Caterham bought the Lotus 7 when Lotus stopped production

Many buyers are still brought to Caterham by the Prisoner Seried

For the pedants

The modern reincarnation of the Prisoner's car is the Caterham 7
KAR 120C was a demo that during the early filming was borrowed ,returned, sold to a private owner and then crashed in a race

It was then superseded in the series by several other cars modified to look like the original

In the final episode there was no car available so Caterham built a model detailed to look like the original

.. and for the real pedants the person returning KAR 120C to the McGoogahan in the final episode was not a member of the cast, but Graham Nearn who drove the car down to the studio, and was then recruited to drive the car on set

It is possible to list the models and modifications in various episodes, however the link between Caterham and the Prisoner and the promotion and sales of the Caterham due to this link is indisputable.. hence the original post

.... and none of that realty undermines Caterham's contribution as a car that made Britain Great
