It's a bit more complicated than that...
Caterham have been in business since 1957

They provided ALL the cars used in the Prisoner including the purpose built one ofr the final episode

Yet there are those who would deny that Caterham have a link
And there are probably even more who don't give a flying fig.

As they say - leave it aht, it's not wuuuurf it.

There is a Clan Crusader "project" on Ebay, I like them and Iiked the Rochdale too, it has lines that still look good today.

Happy with that

Reality is reality, those who wish to deny it have that right, but I am quite happy to leave this a "case proven"

I remember a local story as a teenager....

Local eccentric had a Rolls Royce similar to this:

It had been cleaned on a Sunday morning, driven to the Church 3 miles away, driven home and cleaned

When sold after the sad demise of the owner EVERYTHING was original after 50 years and in immaculate condition

One instance where the motor trader could truly say one owner, only used it for church, hymn book still in glove compartment.

I used to work on Rolls shadow 1's at my body shop..they were shoot..and full of british leyland parts..they had a wonderfull smell though..

What about Marcos or TVR ?
I test-drove a few TVRs, when SWMBO had told me she'd looked at a XKR
(having previously driven Chimera, Griffith 500, & Sagaris on a - 40th birthday - trackday)
The Sagaris was a mental-machine

I was sorely, sorely, tempted by a Cerbera (the 4.5litre model), but wife preferred the lines of the XKR
However, to this day, I'd still have a Griff 500:wub:
That's got to be the best application of the Rover V8 (yes.... I know it's originally a Buick engine)
Second best was the Land Rover 101FC
