As part of a 'joint operation' this morning, with my wanting to visit Indespension, & daughter needing to visit the ‘Trinity Centre’, I dropped her off at EastGate, by the end of Lady Lane, & went off to park up for a while
I ended up opposite this building

It's the Black Swan, or it was (not sure if it's still trading?)

There were a couple of timber-framed buildings facing it, that were demolished in the 60's
Plus, another that survived into the 2000s further down WestGate, just above the Elephant & Castle pub
