On Saturday morning, I've got a trip to Holmfirth, to drop daughter & one of her friends off at a wedding, at the Vineyard
I'll see what I can photograph whilst out & about, but might not get chance to upload till Sunday evening
Apologies, she went with one of the other guests, & came back home with her other-half, who was a Groomsman & had gone earlier in the morning
Still, I have a week off, to myself!, shortly

Theres a campsite overlooking Holmfirth that I'm eager to try.
I can't find it, but I thought I'd previously (first COVID lifting of lockdown) featured a visit to St Johns Church, just out of the centre (to the west), where Peter Sallis & Bill Owen are buried in adjoining graves

The graves are just off the depicted path; https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2007323

Just as a place to visit, if you've ever liked any of their work/roles

Yesterday's hike produced a few results..

TP6150 Stanage Trig by torchlight... 👍

Onwards to TP7411 Stanedge Pole for a sunrise view.

P8150039.JPG

Then a barely discernable BM & initials on this rather large lump of gritstone on Long Causeway by Redmires Reservoir.

P8150087.JPG

Handily, in Ringinglow, there was a pub, The Norfolk Arms (in Derbyshire!?) to stop for a coffee or.. I was thinking there must be a BM around but for the life of me I couldn't find it!!

Ox Stones Trig was the final one..

I don't think I've managed 3 trigs on a hike before. 🤔

Whilst trying to see the local old men slide down the hillside in a tin bath?
