People were generally more happy, with some I've never seen before saying hello, Merry Christmas and the like, it was really nice. To go shopping in the local Malls and hearing Christmas Carols being played over the sound system was also great for me. Going to one of the many Church services over the Christmas period is also someting that gives me an uplift. It's also a time when I make telephone calls back to family in the UK and I know they enjoy that as much as me. Generally speaking for me it's a time of happiness and I don't go spending huge sums of money to get that enjoyment.!!

Now I've mentioned it, I'm sure someone will oblige and find one for us!
But remember, in the book, Scrooge becomes a reformed character and approves Xmas at the end. Bah!

The TV adverts are less intrusive than they were a few years ago and there are less of them. I don't really notice the build up these days. Maybe not working in an office or with other people helps!
Have they banned TV childrens' toys adverts?
