The Coffee Stop

Like Raleighnut I'm more of a pub stopper, I enjoy a pint of Landlord half way, and often a few more at the end.
Nothing wrong with a cafe stop though, most tea rooms and garden centre cafes near me are cyclist magnets. We even have a combined bike shop / cafe in my town, shame it's so close as there's little point fuelling up on cake 2 miles from home.

I get about 7 miles from home, and reach downtown Normal (sorry, Uptown, the correct appellation) and have 2 coffee shops and a ritzy hotel lobby coffee place to choose from. Old original vegan coffee house is most cycling friendly and easiest to access. Lycra and kadet caps the rule, rather than the exception.

But I usually ride solo, so don't generally bother.
There used to be a decent chuck wagon for a brew and a bacon butty on the corner at the bottom of Leathley Lane between Farnley and Pool-in-Wharfedale but he's not been there for a while now
Oh, and the ice cream van at Swinsty Reservoir car park in the Washburn Valley above Otley sells hot and cold drinks

If I'm out with friends we nearly always stop in a cafe for a cuppa and a scone.
If by myself I probably won't bother.
