More like cardigans and Werthers Originals.

Handy if we go away as we sometimes take the Volvo and I can use it to chat to Mrs D in convoy behind (or 20 miles ahead as the T5 is a touch more sprightly than my camper!)

I've just plumped for an Anker Solix 800 Plus with camping lights and a solar panel. It should easily run the Halfords fridge for 3 days when we are off grid. We've managed 3 days in summer with ice blocks with it - just. It will also power the battery charger should I ever leave stuff on in the van, but from what I can see, it powers down all the lights after a few minutes.

You'll find it goes into "Economy Mode" (stupid name) that stops everything electric turning on after around 20-25 minutes, so you can't run the stereo, open/close windows etc without the ignition on, it's not really dependent on how much charge is in the battery,as it does it after doing a 130 mile run, carp feature imho

my van has some crap feature like that too, I think it closes its electric down after about 10 minutes
I had to do some rewiring so as I can have the radio on and interior lights on as per a traditional car/van

Aye lad, I've got dual solar, Victron bits on the management side and a leisure battery.

When the battery dies in the future I'll get the system upgraded to accommodate a LiPo battery, but as it stands now all the rear lighting etc is LED and the battery manages about 2 days of careful use. We have the mains hook up and use that where available.
