My wife is very appreciative too Adam ^_^ She was so scared when she heard me yesterday morning on the phone. Thanks to you and Mary I was fine :okay:

Next year I'll at least know now I have asthma so can prepare and be more aware

Glad to hear you are diagnosed, and hopefully on the mend. Luckily my wife is a Specialist Nurse! My witch doctor advice of rub a dead slug in your eye and eat 6 mistletoe berries was more for my entertainment than your well being! So we'd better hand full credit to Mary.

It was a brilliant day. Great people, great roads and a real sense of achievement. If I can get myself sorted I'll be there again for sure next year. At no stage during the ride did I regret my decision to do the ride; even when my body started to break down on me, my mind stayed focused. Loved it.

erm .... it's something a gentleman cyclist might require but a lady cyclist will/shouldn't not require

Welcome to the club Martyn. Hope you enjoy the banter and you get to race on BKool. You'll be a formidable foe on the hillier rides!
