By the way Rob if you do share with me I do talk and swear a lot in my sleep
and sometimes I think I'm a boxer also in my sleep but I'm sure you'll be fine
.

Is anyone else still considering the 120 miles? I've probably not trained as much as I could have, I've spent the last 2 weeks eating and drinking way too much. And Im pretty sure Adam, Paul and Bill were in better shape than me and they suffered badly by all accounts. But I'm still tempted...

TT, may be doing 100km, lots of climbing, in Kent hills sunday. Meet 8-8 30am at Cadence crystal palace if you back/interested. Friend who is organising is doing the DD.

Cheers Bob I'm not back until Monday or I'd of liked to have joined you. Make sure you save a bit in the tank for Wales![]()
Sunday will be a test. Struggling with knee these last few days but had upped the real life cycling to see how it would respond. All goes well i will commit to the DD and hardly touch the bike other than to turn the pedlas lightly.
You gonna but a larger sise cycling bib when you get back?![]()
No worries Robthanks for the offer but I'm going to drive up on the morning as 1 of my mates wants to join us
Go for the 120 miles TT - you'll only regret it if you don't! I found it tough but actually not too bad, and it was further (plus much more climbing) than I'd ever done before. It wasn't actually as bad as I had built it up to be in my mind beforehand. I think Bill's main problem last year was saddle discomfort more than anything else.Is anyone else still considering the 120 miles? I will say though, that we had lovely weather conditions last year - I can imagine it being a completely different challenge in bad weather....

Looking at the route in detail, the reason there is a large number for climbing is that the profile is a constant sawtooth.
