FNRttC The Friday Night Ride to the Coast - Whitstable 27th August 2010

Not happy, have to drop out of this one, ...

And another one bites the dust. I'm out too, got beaten up by an armchair monday night (fell asleep and woke up feeling like i had broken my leg. turned out to be a trapped nerve). Just managed to ride to the stables and back very slowly. Definately won't be able to manage 70miles but hope to ok for next week.

I get into Victoria about 11:10 so I'm staying there for the duration.
BTW currently feeling enthusiastic about riding back to Rochester to catch train as that makes it a round 100 mile trip. Anyone else? (Boy racers need not apply - this will be an old crock ramble..)

I'm really having a time with Martins

Martin 'stuntbadger' has just turned up - his computer has been up the swanny, or some such - and Martin B has just returned, having gone out at lunchtime and bought a bike to replace the one that was stolen. It's all toooo Martinconfusing!!!!

Ditto. Last time we went straight back up the old A2 (bit lumpy, not bad) then Rochester, Strood, Gravesend........

As I guess we don't know each other but Dell knows all - perhaps if placed a bottle of red wine in front of the 'returners' in Whitstable it could help us to recognise each other and ... well ... return ... or something?

I'm sure we'll find each other. Or I'll just stand up at 9am and say "Who's for home then?"

I think straight down the A2 to Dartford is a great idea, I can then run some shoppers over on my way through Bexleyhell....

Stay south of the A2 after Dartford, and you'll be safe! At least until you get to Lewisham.....

Nice idea but I live in Welling so it's the old Roman road for me!!

East Hill, West Hill and then Bexleyhell!!!
