Carbon wheels??
OK - they need some work to convert to pure carbon - but the element is in there

I like the address, North Hampton, never heard of it but Northampton I have heard of.

Bit like the location Google picked for me, Glenfields*.....................No such place but there is a Glenfield which we live on the edge of.

* It sometimes decides we are in Thurmaston and once Syston both miles away but I think that may be due to engineering work that Openreach are doing to 'upgrade' to Full Fibre (we are on 'Fibre To Cabinet' still)

@Arjimlad - it's not worth much I'm afraid, particularly in the current very depressed market. It's probably £15-20 at most.

As it’s on the thread, between £1500 and £2000

Some of these people posting ebay ads for silly money seem to have a track record of doing it

so not an accident

wonder if they ever get it

although if I was being cynical I might wonder if there was something dodgy going on

I have to suspect there is a some reason for this

do they ever sell at that price??

If so then maybe there is some disguised payment involved for something else

who knows - I mean some people do pay silly money for things I wouldn't give you 5p for!

Perhaps its to do with assets, if the seller is a business and this shows up in the books as an asset in stock? Then money can be borrowed against stock? It's the only explanation I can think of.

Good point - I had not thought of it tha way

I was thinking more in line of
"Well your honour I paid this man £100,000 and I now understand that he is a known drug dealer
but the money I paid him was for this wonderful bike - You can see it in the shed behind the classic vintage Flymo I paid him £90,000 for the next week"

I know the cops would see right through it
but a good lawyer might be able to "look at it differently"

The lawyer for the prosecution may raise the point that it is 531 main tubes only, with the rest high tensile steel....
