No, i’s named after Jane Austin, the world famous lady racing-car driver of the 1930s, not Jane Austen the fairly obscure woman novelist.

British Cycling membership changes, cheapest one with old benefits like discount codes has increased from ~£25 to £50. I'd somehow missed that they charged me £40 last year.

Cancelled!

My better half can become a keen cyclist and buy bits at a discount through her BLC. :okay:

Rarity value though, track ends and 1" pitch drive.

Long and short chain links - a "skip link" chain.

I noted the track ends but didn’t spot the chain.
About 17 years ago I bought a second hand C B Super Coureur for under £60 and about 15 years ago I picked up a C B Majestic for £47 so I tend to look at old bikes that are high priced with a large pinch of suspicion. I may be out on my own here but I can’t comprehend why anyone might think that old C B that is for sale might be worth such a sum.
i have saved the advert and will keep an eye on it to see if it sells.
