Raleigh Routier on ebay for £440 - about ten times what it's worth.

Despite the eye-watering asking price the seller evidently couldn't be arsed to write the description themselves.

According to the AI slop the size is "18-23" - tempted to ask the seller to explain that.

Apparently the bike is "lightweight" - doubtless a well-known trait of all entry-level gas pipe offerings.

The urge to troll this lazy, clueless opportunist is strong...

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
@wafter - you could help them by pointing out what 18-23 actually means, together with how to measure the size.

But it'd still be way over-priced.

Yes - but the advert says "Vintage" and "retro"

so clearly that justifies at mark up of at least a factor of 10

pretty much a bargin basically!

Pretty low spec that Routier and it looks to be a gate, sorry 25" frame !

Yes, it was one of Raleigh's lowest-spec offerings and that example is definitely intented for giants.

Mine's served me very well as a pub bike, but it's no high-end, lightweight tourer and a bit of a boneshaker tbh!

It's very tempting to squeeze in a passive-aggressive dig about the pricing concealed within the Trojan horse of the legit advice you suggest.

It's got to be priced higher than it was new.

In nominal terms probably by a factor of five or more.. in real terms probably at least twice. I'd be interested to know what these actually cost when new.

In other news I may have squeezed in a passive-aggressive message about the pricing concealed within the Trojan horse of the legit advice suggested by @DCLane...
