.....because my thighs are so mighty.

*rolls on the floor laughing like a smash robot*

I'm not super fit, a bit lardy and ride for my own pleasure at my own pace but I have to wear a jean size larger or quite wide cut jeans (no) to fit comfortably over my legs.

I guess I'm not alone

It'll be elasticated waistbands out of the back of the Sunday supplements before long.

Your lucky, I gave up on jeans years ago, found I couldn't find any that fitted, with ordinary trousers I have to be very careful and normally end up one size larger, I'm 34 waist with short legs, if I can get the leg length I normally can't fit my arse and thighs in the trousers.

Got the same problem, it's a small waist NOT chunky thighs :girl:
That's because you must be a proper lovely lady shape.

Genes!

PS I have had to put a 20 inch loop in the waist drawstring of my old tracksuit bottoms to stop them falling down.

I used to use the entire length of the drawstring and was only just able to get the bottoms on ...
You've got a twenty inch waist?

I've always had trouble finding jeans to fit me, am very slim but I find that jeans that fit my bum gape at the waist, are they made for people with non existent bottoms?!
Has anyone else got so used to tights so that baggier trousers just look weird?
