I attended the funeral of an elderly neighbour, long-term family friend and well known member of the local community earlier today and as I was sitting in the church waiting for the service to start, I overheard a man in the pew behind talking to the person beside him say "I knew that she was ill but I didn't know that she wasn't well!"

I had to try hard not to laugh out loud and ended up in a fit of coughing...

Don't you mean you ended up in a fit of coffin?

Illogical and bizarre statements are normal. It's only when you say logical stuff that you need to worry.

Just spoke to my mum. She is having a party for her 90th birthday in July. She said she is looking forward to it as your are only 90 once.😂😂😂

Reminds me of my dad at my Gran's 101st (!) Birthday. He suggested to a nurse that the cake may be less than healthy as it was a very gooey sponge. She responded: "She's 101 love, there's no need to plan for the future now..."

PS: My Gran finally died a week after her 103rd birthday...

That's a good innings.
