I'm just curious as to how you can just decide to never ride again! Work yes, i could give that up tomorrow, but if someone told me i'd never ride again then i'd be devastated!

Within a few weeks of the big six-0 I have decided to retire from active cycling.

Pff! A mere youth. I'm 63 and still doing the occasional 100 miler without too much ill effect.

Anyway, your accumulated knowledge and experience will still be a benefit to the Forum, even if you did stop turning the pedals. If all else fails, you can play in the sandpit in CAD, where any link with cycling is <cough> rather tenuous.
