Completed as far as the supplied kit goes.

Thinking it needs more bird life and a wall or fence to stop the lighthouse keeper tumbling down the cliff in fog.

I made the lighthouse last year. It is quite impressive.

Mines black to the blue baseplate, albeit with large sections still assembled. I was trying to rescrew the battery cover when the top fell off the lighthouse and the rest lifted albeit partly still on the now bending baseplate. Decided it needs a reinforced baseplate, sent off for parts to do one that is supported by plates rather than bricks in the hope it still fits a case okay, otherwise the lighting conductor will need modifying or leaving off.

Sone terrific discounts at Argos including a third off the exclusive to them cat which looks just like one which spent most of the day curled up on my bed half a century ago. Just needs a set of whiskers (eBay).

Black Friday sale purchases completed

Need to watch the cat, it hid under a paw one part making me think it was missing! Whiskers are from an eBay seller, better ones on Etsy but 4-5 times the price.

Motorised lighthouse modified on a plate height MILS baseplate, the sea clear tiled/plates used to the rear, battery cover etc mods from Redbrickable expanded on, cottage given boundary fence and wall plus paths and flower beds. Steps improved replacing a brick with three angled plates to fill the annoyingly gap, paving on them widened and handrail fitted to bottom section. Two additional seagulls, a falcon and six white birds with yellow beaks added along with a dog for the light house keeper. PSU power supply fitted using 6 dummy batteries and Light my Brick lights fitted (not switched on in the photos)

The new minerals set certainly benefits from being lit. Got it with 20% discount from the Argos. Did have a missing part, one of thd roof pieces used on the reaf of the largest mineral so not noticeable. One is currently on the way from Lego.
The wires of the Light My Brick are meant to be crushed down at the back but seem to spring back. Going to add some panel pieces to the rear to act as cable covers
