I didn't know that existed. I may have to see if I can find it. Weirdly Jame's other shows (aside from Man Lab) were all excellent. I enjoyed Jezza in Germany, because it's kinda fun when he makes fun of us, but otherwise the other two just didn't measure up in terms of side-projects.
It was a good TV series, the most humorous episode was the Chelsea Flower Show
when the Judges awarded a plasticine medal
Both the series & the book, covered;
Hornby (& predecessor; Triang)
Lego
Plasticine
Airfix (they built a 1 : 1 scale Spitfire!)
Meccano
Scalextric

Had an unused for 2 years at least gas fire removed and its place is now taken by an offset display case allowing for a larger item alongside

Need to sort out a 5v supply for the lights to the antique cabinet, phone box, London and Baker Street. The cabinets LED strips at the top running off a 12v supply.

I didn't realise until I saw an Airfix Easybuilt kit in Lidl last week, that the easybuild kits have 'lego like' parts that fit together in the same way.

Just finished the kit that every Lego fan on here should have. Note - it's bigger than you think. A little bit fiddly - I found the lego builder app helped a lot. Being able to rotate some of the pictures, is very very useful. I also reduced from the 72 chain links in the build to around 69 to stop the chain from slipping. A lot of people have noted that the chain is quite loose in the prescribed build.

NB - I realised after taking the pictures that the right brake is on backwards. Someone has been playing with it!!
