The limits of mobile phonography (arachnophobes beware!)

Is there a mobile phone for photographers with extra photo hardware?
You can get add-on lenses such as macro adapters but they are a PITA to carry.

It seems that every mobile phone is a general purpose one. There are no specialist versions for better video or better audio or better photo for people who primarily use one mode or another.

I knew that I would never carry anything as big as those beauties, so I settled for the younger cousin! :okay:

PS But most of the time I just use my phone's camera ...
Nowt wrong with a compact Canon...really handy on holiday when carrying a dslr is too much of a faff. I use phone most of time anyway...just wish i carried proper camera more often for when you see a great shot.

I took this with a phone. I don't think it's too bad because the dandelion was swaying in a breeze when I took the pic.

Hi @Grant Fondo Nice cameras.

I didn't think the D70 was too bad a size, being a DX model. All those so called "consumer" Nikons, D40, D50, D70 still produce the goods.
The reason I still like my D50 is that it has AF motor built in to allow a wide range of lenses to be used, I think it was the only entry Nikon to have that.
But Nikon lenses, well lets say they are pricey.

I'm currently looking for a DSLR to use all my M42 lenses on with an adapter as I don't have the time these days to process film. Maybe early models of a Pentax K or a Canon EOS,
Any particular model number?

Yes some god awful 'convenient' film of yesteryear but Ilford B&W 35mm with a few hours in the darkroom could be a thing of beauty.

EOS 20D, EOS 40D?

Any EOS or Rebel the cheaper the better, or a Pentax K.

I want to keep infinity focus and don't want an adapter with a correction lens. I can get M42 adapters for my Nikons, but they have correction lenses which will reduce image quality.

I'm not sure, need to research, but I think Minolta DSLR's take M42 adapters too.
