I had my first puncture since last November yesterday. Over six months without one is some going for me,so i'm sad the run has ended but happy that it lasted so long! It happened in Clitheroe Lancs when i was eight miles from home, so i set off walking expecting to make it home in over two hours. I made two miles to Barrow when a couple walked by and offered to help. They phoned a mate who arrived in a car(big flash Audi...don't call Audi drivers to me!
) with some inner tubes, then they fitted a new tube for me without taking any money for the tube. A very nice gesture indeed,i thanked the couple as i left. If they are looking in then thanks once again
