It is also legal to shoot a Scotsman within the city walls of York, providing he is carrying a bow and arrow, except on Sundays of course!

I thought that was Welshman and Hereford

That's Welshman, within the walls of the city after midnight.

Got a coach driver(Welsh) worried with that.

Some say crossbow others say longbow must be used.

Edited to add, I have the longbow for York.

You know when you turn up late to a thread, read the last three pages and none of it makes sense?

Can we just merge this thread with the factoids one, they are going along similar lines.
Oi.
I resemble that remark.
The thread started as a serious one but gradually evolved (downwards).....you may merge the factoids thread with this one but not vice versa......otherwise you will hear from my lawyer.....YES J Noble Daggett.

BTW, did anyone who paid any attention ever suffer from the literal Mandela effect? I certainly was never under the impression he had died until he did. He was an important world figure. I never known anyone say "I thought he was dead"

Indeed. The fact that people aren’t really paying attention doesn’t really merit a title imho.

There is no way that you resemble that remark.
