I was looking on their website for a suit, either another tweed or maybe moleskin but might have to wait till I see one of their shops given that comment. Obviously I'm not expecting Cordings quality for half the money, but do want something decent for my four or five hundred quid

There’s quite a bit to see there. As well as the clothes, there’s fancy goods😏 a food hall, decent cafe, outlet shop, fishing equipment and there’s a nice walk up to the falls of Bruar.

I fancied a pair of tartan trousers the other year. They were made, or sold by House of Bruar. Someone put me off buying them, saying House of Bruar stuff is 'average' quality, so I didn't bother buying them.

If they are like the ones in the pic , they look less house of Bruar and more house of Bear ……… Rupert Bear. 😀

Not really as it's my size large. Anyway, it's too short in the arms so it wouldn't fit me, but certainly wouldn't 'drown' me.

I've just bought the last pair of these. They only had my 34 inch waist size, with one left and at half price to boot, they were too tempting to turn down. They are 'unfinished' as in you have to have them turned up, maybe even cut before, to get your correct inseam.

Nice to see buttons fitted for braces.
