I've just ordered the last pair of size 10. The site said they were the last pair in size 10, and on looking at the site after ordering it seems they have now sold out in that size. If I don't like them I can simply take them back to my nearest TKMaxx five miles away for a refund, but I'm almost sure I'll like them.😉👍

I've just ordered two items in the Cordings sale. I've had my eye on the berry shawl collar cardigan for must be over a year now since it first appeared. I got it for more or less half price at £147.40 after using a 10 percent off discount code, sent to me with my last order. I also bought a '150th birthday tin', again in the sale.

The cardigan arrived only 48 hours after ordering it! It's still unopened in its box. I might leave it unopened till the autumn as I wont be wearing it till then at the earliest.🤔

Then again, there's the very small chance that it might not fit me, most likely to be short in the arm, if it didn't. I very much doubt it won't fit me, but maybe just to be on the safe side I should try it on before the returns date expires? 🤔

I intend wearing my Blackburn Rovers 1995 Premier League Champions shirt later today, in memory of a friend of mine who died on this date 30 long years ago. We watched the Rovers together for many years! The shirt is an XL size bought in the days when I was 14, not 10.5 stones in weight, but on trying it on yes it's a bit big, but not too big to get away with. I intend wearing my off white, fine wool trousers, a lightweight summer blazer, turquoise loafers and a natural straw Panama hat with it, all to hopefully play down any formality. I feel it's something I must wear to mark the occasion. If it does look a bit odd, it's only a one off and it probably won't be repeated again.😉
