Most recent purchase, WWII foul weather cotton/canvas jacket. Something different with an history floats my boat, and a couple of military field caps to add to my ever increasing hat collection.

When you get to Vienna go straight to the meeting place, and remember, the password is, 'the crow flies south at midnight.' 😂

Bit of a recent extravagance was a nice pair of Crockett and Jones "country" shoes. Not previously seen this style of semi-brogue Derby.

They are the same last shape as their heavy duty brogues which fit me perfectly (I already have 3 pairs in different colours, and the 30 year old black pair on their 4th resole was my first really posh pair of shoes). Seemingly only worn outdoors for a day or so, and whilst £250 is more than I usually pay (for "subs" or seconhand) they'd be well over £500 brand new from Crockett's shop in Jermyn Street.
