Been thinking about a pair for a while so as we were staying about 5 minutes walk from the shop thought it would be best to try them there and ended up buying them.

Not cheap at £245 but they are made in the UK (unlike DM's) and should last me a few years as they can be re soled.

Today got something at the other end of the price spectrum at £10.99 from one of the charity shops.

A made in Japan Iron Heart shirt which usually retails for about £200!

This morning’s charity shop haul included many pairs of Panterella socks, some in cashmere, but odd colours, but who cares at £1 a pair.

Weird thing is I probably knew the previous owner, a notorious local hoarder, and a big-foot like me.

Warrior Clothing doesn't seem to exist now. I've just found this on their Facebook page, saying 'only 13 days to go' till they switch off their site. It was based on an industrial estate near Wigan, Greater Manchester, selling similar stuff to Atom Retro. I visited their base once, which was more of a big lock up than an office and warehouse.

I bought these summer trousers in the cream colour last year. They are very comfortable, quite stylish and nice and cool/breathable on those rare 'hot' days. I looked at the label inside them expecting to find their inseam/leg length but the label doesn't give it. I've measured the inseam and annoyingly it measures at 32.5 inches. I want to buy the trousers in their light grey and chocolate brown options. My question is should I order the 32 or the 33 inch inside leg length? 32 inches will show my socks which isn't a bad thing, while 33 inches will rest on my shoe, maybe very slightly looking too long. I'm now thinking of ordering the light grey ones in a 32 and the brown ones in a 33. What would you do if met with the same dilemma?🤔

I'm going with the 33 inch inside leg. Although I like to show my many pairs of multicoloured socks off I must admit to watching too many online videos of Milan 'fashion' where men over there tend to wear their trousers some might say too short, just to show their socks off. I like to show maybe an inch of sock, but not 2 or 3 inches.... unless I'm sat down with my right leg folded over my left leg!🧐
