These are ok and a lot less in price, especially with the 20 percent off for first time customers offer, but are they a bit costume(ish) as in 'Bugsy Malone' and such characters? They aren't the same quality as the above Herring ones. I think I'll go for the Herring ones, due to their design and superior quality.🤔

Those are aesthetically a lot nicer than the Herring monstrosities you posted earlier, which looked like a two or three failed trial shoes sewn together


Now that said, I can't really asses the quality of the brown pair. Personally I'd only buy em if Goodyear welted and made in Northampton.

Have my eye on a pair of Crockett co-respondants' like that on they 'bay but £260 is quite a lot for a very occasional novelty pair

The owner of the retro clothing shop I work in said today that the first pair are 'too busy' with 'too much going on in style and appearance'. On the second pair he said like me that they are a bit costume(ish). He said he prefers these when I showed him another pair I found. Unfortunately the site won't let me copy the photos of the shoes, so you'll have to look for yourselves.😉

Two rings I bought today. The first is a combination of 9 carat gold and sterling silver with a faux sapphire stone, bought from Accrington Antiques.

The second is costume jewellery from the 1970's, bought from the retro clothing shop I work in.

You need to decide if you're going for the Shine on Harvey Moon look, or more of a Happy Days one. 😂
