An everyday pair and a pair for Sunday best.

Which one is Sunday best? I like the one on the left as you look at the photo more than the other one.

The owner of the retro clothing shop I work in said today that the first pair are 'too busy' with 'too much going on in style and appearance'. On the second pair he said like me that they are a bit costume(ish). He said he prefers these when I showed him another pair I found. Unfortunately the site won't let me copy the photos of the shoes, so you'll have to look for yourselves.😉

I had a pair of those back in my skinhead/suede head days. I think it would in about 1971.

I settled for the above after the usual days, even weeks of deliberating. I asked quite a few folk which one out of the two I linked, plus another pair. The males seemed to go for the 'costume' ones, while the females liked the above, hence my decision to buy the above. The link said last night that the Herring sale was ending soon, so I bought them before they went back up to £455. The shoes are made by Cheaney so they should be good, long lasting quality shoes.

I did think about buying these, maybe as well as, not instead of the above, but on being told they weren't me, because of their 'chunkiness' I decided not to buy them. I really must get rid of quite a few pairs of shoes taking up floor space in my flat. I'm looking at cheapish, around the £100 mark shoes I wear every now and then. I'll anonymously put them in the Salvation Army clothes skip, as being a bit snobby here, I don't want charity shop workers looking at them then thinking badly of me for wearing £100 shoes! 🧐 😉

Look at this product that I found on google.com https://share.google/tWNF9le8J89clA7q3

They arrived yesterday.

I do like this probably for the much reduced price as for the actual garment!😉 It's only available though in XL, whereas I'm L in size. Looking at the seller's size chart there's only an inch more width on the chest for the XL compared to the L size. I think it should be ok.🤔

Mmm, their site says that discounted items cannot be returned for a refund. Is it worth the £37.50 gamble?🤔 I think it is.😉
