The website looks very suspicious in my opinion. Plus, what about the Distance Selling Regulations

Yes, I see what you mean. I didn't check the cost of delivery or where it would be shipped from, but then I didn't get any further than suggesting I should buy it. I decided against buying it because it's too wide neck wise, might be slightly too big and it's maybe a bit too young for me. Thinking about it, as with other clothing items I have far too many tops. These days I see shirts, polos etc as undergarments, more than the main item of my ensemble. The main items are suits, jackets, shoes, hats shirts and ties and maybe thick sweaters, especially roll neck ones. All other items are just there to compliment or blend in. Even on the very rare 'hot' days of summer I now wear a jacket, albeit a linen or a light weight tweed one, so that top in question would hardly be seen.🤔

According to the seller it's a 1950's/60's 'preppy look'. I think it's more 1930's/40's.🤔 If I bought it I'd wear a cravat or a lightweight neck scarf on cooler days to lessen the open neck look. 🧐

He was a 'fashion guru'. When he led, others followed!🧐 That 'rope' is sprezzatura, meaning he's giving the impression of forgetfulness in his dressing, but in reality it was very intentional.🧐

You could place that style anywhere from the thirties to the fifties, more American than British though, go into any pub in the UK and it's very unlikely you'd see someone dressed like that.

The attraction is that as you say, it's very unlikely you'd see someone dressed like that. If lots dressed in the same way as I do I'd be looking to change my image.😉

I've got a couple of pairs of Albert trousers which I quite like. Can't speak for the website though as I got them off Vinted.

Juventus football club in Turin Italy wear pink as their away colour due to their kit man many years ago putting their then red away shirts on too hot a wash, making them fade to pink. The club couldn't afford to buy new red ones, so they kept those now pink shirts and have played in pink as their second strip ever since. As for their traditional black and white striped shirts, they played Notts County in a friendly match many years ago. Notts County lent Juventus some of their own black and white striped shirts, while County played in another colour for the game. Juventus were so impressed by this gesture that they decided to wear black and white striped shirts to honour the Notts County gesture and have played in black and white stripes ever since.

Latest bargain off fleabay. Granted I have already got a lifetime's worth of nice shoes, but these were near enough brand new, and Crockett & Jones are exceptionally good quality. Need to take them to the cobblers to put blakeys on the toes else I'll ruin them in a month. Dilemma of whether to put rubber stick on soles as well, or let them wear out and have a full rubber Dainite sole done in due course. Brand new from their Jermyn St shop they'd be a good bit over six hundred notes, so £170 whilst not cheap is a genuine bargain
