If this was the one in Stornoway some of the jackets when I was there were made by Brooktavener who are based in Yorkshire. 😱They were cheaper on their website.

It was in Tarbert, l had a look around whilst sheltering from the rain. I can't image their stock was much different all the same.

When myself and Mrs W went to the HebCelt festival in Stornoway we drove to the top end of Island. It was peeing down and blowing a Gale in June. I thought If I lived here I would give up cycling.😱

I didn't have too much rain, but did have a lot of wind. I loved it!

We get a lot of wind and rain here too so not much different.

They'd look great teamed up with a pair of chinos whilst strolling around Portofino in the Summer. Accrington not so much.

I don't stroll around Accrington now, after being seriously hassled in the bus terminal two weeks ago by a chav with two vicious Staffordshire Bull Terriers and two drug addicts! That town centre is so dodgy these days that I go from shop to shop in my car, only getting out to go in and out the shop!🙄

These are tempting! I fancied them the other week when I bought the 'cow' ones, but they'd sold out in most sizes, including my size 10. It looks like they've restocked their supplies, unlike Cordings do with clothes. Cordings won't get more jackets for example in, when they sell out of most sizes. No, they'll just try and sell that XXXXXL one and the XXS one till eventually all are gone!😏

I know you’ve bought some of their shoes however they get terrible reviews for quality on trust pilot. There’s a few videos on YouTube discussing the quality of shoes Loake 1880 range and Cheany come out well. Church’s get a bit of a panning due to being bought out by one of the big fashion brands however a couple of their ranges made in UK are still ok.
One needs to take out there.

If you're buying new shoes every fortnight then you don't need them to be particularly good quality.

Fair comment. I can't remember the last time I had to bin shoes due to wearing them out as I have so many, the 'wear and tear' gets distributed among oh must be 30 pairs, not just 2 or 3! Though I did have those burgundy Reiss loafers re-heeled the other month. Even if I only had a few pairs, I still wouldn't wear them out, as I've always been good at preserving my shoes.
