Between us we must be providing a fair chunk of Cording's market. I've just bought myself one of their suits for a wedding next week. I'll post some pictures eventually.

Slight delay on my modelling career. Much as I love Cording's clothing it seems their suit jackets do not agree with my shape. I'm awaiting an alternative to compare so more to follow.

In the meantime, I treated myself to a new pocket square at the weekend.

I can highly recommend Rhodes Wood in Harrogate to the resident sartorial adventurers. I was shocked to realise that I've had the made to measure hacking jacket I had made by them for nearly 30 years. It still fits (just) and has lasted in superb condition.

They are now down to £138 which includes the P&P, saving £222. There's an extra 20 percent off till the 11th of July. The P&P is a bit steep at £9, but they are still a 'bargain' at that price!🤔

I have to remember that this is probably the last buying loafers thought of the summer. I like to plan ahead and seeing as the autumn is only 2 months away, those leather soled suede loafers won't be getting much wear come the autumn. Ideally it would've been better buying them in May or June, but then they weren't available at such a price then. Obviously they are now greatly reduced, due to the seller wanting to get rid of them before the autumn when not many will be buying summer loafers. I could have rubber soles fitted in my local Timpson's, probably costing about £80. Mmm, that's something to consider.🤔

They are very comfy, and you do get noticed in them! So, I've bought the turquoise ones as well!😉 'Mmm, turquoise, that'll be a hard colour to match with other items', some have said, but not really. If you look at the colour wheel, turquoise is the opposite to red and orange and far away enough from purple to form a decent contrast. I have lots of orange items and lots of purple, majenta etc items, so wearing turquoise shoes won't be a problem.

Don't think such light colored shoes would be for me.

They have the shoe in 'not so much in your face' light grey, and in tan.

I'd wear them, but wouldn't buy them as they don't really stand out, plus I have so many shoes similar to those two.
