Maybe you need to sell some stuff in order to buy somewhere to store your gear.

I'm a clothes hoarder, so parting with stuff is very difficult. I'm trying to stop buying clothes, shoes and hats and concentrate on the stuff I have, mixing and matching, wearing/reviving not worn for ages stuff! For example I wore a Brook Taverner green tweed jacket yesterday, bought must be eight years ago and not worn for ages. I developed a Cordings or nothing snobbery, and even though such as Brook Taverner aren't as 'nice' as Cordings, such stuff still deserves an airing every now and then.
