Wow ! That takes me back. I thought we were the only people that had that. In America, it seemed peculiar to Peoria, Illinois. (Home Juice Company) Never heard of anyone else having this. A box for the milk, a box for the juice on the porch.

I still can get milk delivered, and, oddly enough, organic fruits and vegetables.

Getting a route map from the AA detailing how to get from Carnforth to Newquay, it was about 10 feet long

Unpasteurised milk....until our GP advised us to switch to the pasteurised stuff

Oh yes, and that table that you used to get at the back of a road atlas to work out the mileage between major towns and cities. As a kid i used to quiz my dad on these from the back seat of the car, he was a sales rep. and was annoyingly good at that game.
