They were gotten away with after someone was murdered in one sometime in the '80s.

Just to put a dampener on things, you know.....

when I was 9 or 10 my whole class went to a birthday party on the bus after school. I still remember the ticket being about 30 foot long. ( clearly a false memory as 20 x 3 inches is not that long)

Odd, isn't it? A discarded blank ticket roll, found below a seat, was like priceless treasure to me and my fellow tiny friends.
