The strange thing with that it is I cannot ever remember hating the smell etc, guess I had been bought up with it. Smoking on planes was the best, you could cut through it with knife to get to the Toilets at the back.smoking on buses. Smoking on the telly. Smoking in the classroom (my teacher in the third year of junior school smoked in the classroom).
The faint whiff of sick and nausea around Betws-y-Coed, halfway by car to Tenby.

Another post bought back some memories my first belt of beer was Double Diamond, snuck a swig from the kitchen when no one was looking, trouble was someone had used it as an ashtray..
