Of course the irresistable appearance is probably largely due to the fact that we do large distances every week. I average about 180 miles or more per week, so that definitely tones the legs nicely, and staves off age as well as anything else, I guess.
I do naff all distance most weeks because I'm working, maybe 60 miles, but it still lowers cholesterol 20% and gives me a hematocrit in the mid 40%s. No idea on looks because I've never really stopped cycling
Back on the mtb these last few weeks, avg 100 miles a week...gave up the smokes new years day 2016,50 bandh gold per day.ballooned to over 17 st...started calorie counting in feb this year, got down to 15 and a half, started back as said a few weeks ago and diwn to 14.5 stone and feel fantastic..my legs give out before the breathing at the moment as opposed to dying in the first mile whilst smoking...good luck on packing in the cigs..Hope I never go back...700 quid a month better off is a good incentive not too..
Without sounding patronising Well done to you buddy.!! If I would of done what you've done over the last few months I would be well proud of myself. All the best Matey.
