I do wonder whether the force india cars will be any good in the rain. Could spoilt the ferrari/mclaren climb up the grid into the points if they are. Red Bull needed this though they are quite a substantial distance behind in points even if they don't have too much to worry about.

Somewhat amusing too for Webber's confidence after Lewis etc. saying he was past it.

I thought it was funny how at one point Hamilton kept saying over the radio "my tyres have gone off!" Er, your team mate's done two thirds of the race on one set of tyres and he's managing ok ...

The different driving styles between these two are quite obvious. Button flows into the corners, Hamilton gets to them then turns. No wonder his tyres wear out faster.

More whining from Hamilton about his support crew. "They didn't tell me it was raining".

I'm disliking him more every time I see / hear about him.

There will be dummys and toys all over the workshop floors now that he has to play second fiddle to Jenson

OK race fans, can anyone answer this one:

What's the red light at the back of the car - I had always thought it was a 'burn' from the heat but today it looked more like a light than a flame...

They have a flashing rear red light for use in the rain, cos the spray makes them invisible from behind, is that the one you mean?

That'll be it.

Didn't think it would be a brake light :welcome::laugh:

It also used to come on when they have their pit-lane limiter activated, not sure if it still does though.

it was good to see Vettel finally rewarded for his excellent driving and Webber to pick up second slot and as much as i dislike hamilton he did drive well

although i was happily watching it from a recording on my sky plus box and at about lap 33 a bloke wearing a funny hat and a dress came on and started talking about jesus ? why could'nt he have gone onto BBC2 ?

There was a 5 minute overlap between channels. I knew about this before it started, but forgot to keep checking. They never gave any notice at 9:55, just ending the BBC1 program at 10:00 so I had to jump and quickly look for the remote.

I did switch channels and caught the last 6 laps but it seems stupid to switch a programme halfway through to accomodate another programme that could've been screened on BBC2 ?

I agree. That did seem very odd, especially as no warning whatever was given on the Radio Times website for those of us recording it. I had to watch the second half on iplayer.

Twas a good race - even though it would have been even more interesting if the rain had come down near the end (Hamilton on podium anyone?)

Quite sad in some senses that Schumacher isn't really performing at the moment and is blaming the car. But there you are...
