I wonder if the rule about the SC on the last lap was revised when they introduced the overtaking after a SC white line before/on the last bend. It seems to this is a case of inconsistant rules. When you had to wait before the start/finish line before overtaking after a SC this would not have been an issue.

I saw it as an inconsistency. If you go on what Domenicali said how do you distinguish between a race finishing under a safety car and one that just happens to pit on the last lap? You can't. Moreover you can't go round having this business of white lines specifically for that and green flags waving like mad and say no overtaking. I think the spanish whingebag was wrong. I did quite like the race.

It was a good race for Monaco, which can sometimes be a bit of a procession. I think Schumacher was a bit hard done by; as others have said, what's the point of waving green flags if it means you can't race?

Monaco GP is just an excuse to party, you don't go the Monaco to watch the racing, you go to sip champers on the yacht with the cars zipping past in the background.

Cracking result for McLaren, but what a stroke of luck! Can't believe that crash, what was Vettel thinking?? Nice to see Button and Hamilton fighting it out as well.

It worked out okay for Webber. He has gained 15 points over his teammate and that could come in handy at the season's end.

chuffed for lewis, good fight with Jenson towards the end. His first win of the season but he did't look overjoyed on the podium

What's with the debate over whose fault the crash was? Whichever way you look at it Vettel drove into Webber.

That would seem obvious but Red Bull seem to say otherwise so my guess is that Vettel is the favourite of the RBR management.

Nope Vettel (and the team) are saying that Webber set his car to petrol saving mode one lap earlier than Vettel, as he had saved a liter of fuel over the race. this meant that vettel was quicker than Webber and could pass him. It's all small margins though, they both have an argument. Wont do much good for team moral.
