I have been watching the Men's Team Cross Country skiing. Brilliant. Won't say much more in case some one watches it tomorrow. Except to say "Men who look very fit on skis and in Lycra".

Heh, was just thinking that surely that's what the Winter Olympics is all about - and then I remembered men's curling is an event!

A lot of men on skis in the Olympics are either going too fast to be admired properly or dressed in very loose clothing. In the Mens cross country (Nordic style IIRC) it is much easier to admire their technique, and musculature.

One competitor was wearing short-sleeves, to reveal his strong arms.

The speed skater who was second in the 10,000 was a very large bloke, wasn't he?

I think that was a very unfair disqualification of the Dutch skater. He did not gain anything at all, and had such a margin over the next skater.
Sometimes, the spirit, rather than the letter of the rules needs to be followed.

I never watch sport on Telly (apart from Moto GP) but watched all of the womens Ski Cross (? where four of them race together)

i watched it last nite too. that semi where the girl in green came from 4th to first was outstanding.

That four at the same time thing is enormously good fun but for tension I don't think you can beat the biathlon events as the whole thing can be turned upside down at every shoot.
