I have 8 bikes stored in a tight space in the garage. They gang up on me by deliberately and maliciously entangling their pedals and handlebars to complicate withdrawal of the chosen bike. They also rearrange themselves so that the bike I want is always the one buried at the back, despite me being certain it was the last one I used. They have essentially formed a trade union.

I've not ridden 3 of my bikes for a couple of years. Best bike (vintage) hasn't been ridden since we sold the caravan two years ago - I'd leave it in Wales. The Ribble (vintage) hasn't been used since I bought a CX bike that does road/off road. I commute on an old 90's MTB, and the full suspension hasn't been used in anger since we did a bike packing trip. It got stripped and fully serviced after the trip, but the CX bike does most of the off road, and this year I've avoided anything gnarly after fracturing my hip socket and pelvis in January.

I have the same problem as I have 6 in a 7 x 5 shed. They all fit in ok but it needs manoeuvring every time I need one out.

That's definitely not fair baninshing a bike to Wales.🤔

My road bike has barely been outside since getting the ebike, but I got addicted to riding back in the hills I barely visited in '23 and '24. It's done a grand job of being ready on the turbo trainer for indoor rides.

Having more than bike is like having more than one child, love is multiplied not divided. But comes with the advantage that you can sell one when you're bored of it .

I think the social services would have something to say if you sold one of your children.

He needs another bike to keep the the bike left behind company. 😁
Remember, you can never have too many bikes.

That would be a good solution but I don't have room for a third bike, unless I throw my wife's gardening stuff out. 😀
