I just ordered some glueless patches off the back of this forum thread :okay: Up until now I'd only carried a replacement tube but patches seem an obvious addition :smile:
 
OP think your self lucky if you were tubeless you'd also have to carry this excess weight.

had one of those moments yesterday, flat deflating. once i had the back wheel off i could see that the tyre itself was furked. rather than ruin another tube, i did a repair with a slime scab stick on patch and used a bit of 23mm tyre as a boot to get home (35mm tyre).

Further slow puncture on way home so had to stop and re-inflate the tyre a few times. Hats off to Wiggle for being able to send new tyres for today (the one day i work from home) and still being cheaper than buying local.

even on the carbon fast bike, spare tube and pump/co2 are a must…
