Thanks for coming along today guys. It was the perfect sized group for a ride around town.

We stopped at:

• Cockpit steps
• Necropolis railway
• Ferryman's seat
• Kings Arms / Newcommen Street
• Guys Hospital
• Aldgate pump
• Wapping Old Stairs
• Tobacco Dock
• Ratcliffe Highway
• Whitechapel Bell Foundry
• Palm Tree pub
• (We skipped the loop of Victoria Park with the two London Bridge alcoves)
• Passing Alley
• Pye Corner / Cock Lane / Watch House
• Drinking Fountain
• Newgate Prison.

Here is the planned route, which has the Victoria Park loop in it..

Our next themed Sunday London Ride is on 8 July. The theme is Dead Pop Stars. See you there.

Some excellent sites there, Ross.
If there's one thing that I'm kicking myself for, it is not getting myself down to Whitechapel Foundry for one of their tours before they closed - that, and not having been on this ride, of course.

The law of the sod has struck. Chatting after the ride with @rb58 @sagefly @topcat1 @wanda2010 @Mice et al, broken spokes cropped up, I said I had never had one go in all my life. I touched wood twice AND had a bacon sandwich but I've just done my first on the single speed. Good job it's got 32 spokes so got back alright. 15 miles at over 15mph avg.
