After several years of trying, I've finally managed to grow some Echiums to maturity.
The bees love them!
I've got 2 in full flower at the moment and they are both over 14 ft tall.

House tidied then some minor DIY jobs and clean me van.

Probably toasted ham sandwich today. Its too hot to cook anything.

It's so hot here that the best place to be is in the shade in the orchard

My favourite tree in our garden is the cordyline and it's starting to come into flower. The bees love it and emits a lovely aroma as well.

Well - we're back

The Wedding went well
SWMBO had a great time and the "Happy Couple" seemed very happy with the way everything went

Last night way a great family "do" - everyone was there and a lot of catching up was done

The bride's family included some relatives from North Carolina who was amazed at the venue - it is SO old
hmmm - yup Americans have no idea of old stuff!!

They also stayed up late in the bar drinking
and reports say they were not feeling very well the next morning!!!

anyway - all sorted - all the kids present had a great time with no dramas

Heard from the daughter and her chap that they successfully completed the " Beer Lovers Marathon " in Liege. Meanwhile Mrs Tkk and I had an amble along the trailway and ended up going through Dingly Dell to pay homage to the creatures that dwell there. They were in the middle of a tea party when we arrived so we didn't dwell...

28 all differant colours and styles, from very short shorts to 4 inches above the knee

Nothing has happened today, I didn't go to church as my "man flu" has got worse and felt like 💩
My lunch wasn't much as I couldn't taste it, but the apple pie and cream was nice.
Watched a film Three men in a boat, it was a true war film, not many people in it as there were only three but it had a happy ending
Wonder what tomorrow will bring.................

Woken at 5:44 by three USAF V-22's returning northwards. Flying at under a 1,000 feet. The same three that flew over in the opposite direction last night.
