Started young, and still going.

Barnet,
Good morning all.
An overcast and cool day here.
The first of the bin lorries has been down our road. On the local group it looks like the top of the road is closed again, this time for resurfacing works.
I fancy sausages today, so a bike ride up to the local butcher later on, their home made sausages are really good.

Morning.
It's glorious, of course! Although some precipation is forecast for later. Stay tuned.
Slightly hungover this morning, too much vino collapso last night. Not good.
Hopefully I'll have recovered sufficiently to bang out a weights session later.
Tea delivered to wife, cats fed, coffee brewing.

Urgent tasks this morning - have to return the hat from The Wedding

given that is weighs about the same as a dieting Hydrogen atom it comes in a massive box
and cost more that anything else she wore!!!

anyway some shopping after that

generally feel carp - possibly due to the hotel having had feather pillows and duvet which would affect me more than her because I sleep face down
or I have caught a cold/flu from someone at The Wedding

Relax, it was probably a report of a Chinese Spy Balloon. Turned out to be a pair of Welshies Bloomers that had blown off the washing line.
Prevailing wind was in a southerly direction, the direction they were coming from. It also rules weather balloons, or Welshies Bloomers" out of it.
They disappeared from radar over the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
All three of them!

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I has to post a couple of things. Mr WD is busy moving fence posts that we bought so I decided to test the new battery on my bike. Tis so much better than the old one, however I am pooped from going a bit mad on the uphill bit from the bottom of the lane to the drive. I am def unfit.

I do that

I feel good and decide to "power" up a hill

then get to the top and realise I am not 20 anymore!!!

Just had a magical experience. I went down garden for a stroll and there were two badger cubs on our side of fence. They got under a section of fence and into our garden, I managed to cut a hole in fence and encourage them to go back to "their" side. They seemed totally unbothered by myself and wife(she was filming as I was trying to get them out). Badgers do at times dig their way through and make a right mess of lawn but it was fantastic to see these cubs and odd as middle of day. When I first saw them they were playing in hedge, totally at ease.

On our visits to Edinburgh we catch the bus to various bars / cafés and restaurants. There's a lot of very similar and very drab looking housing stock that has a sort of grey render. A refresh with primary colours would certainly brighten things up. ( I don't mean the traditional stone built houses, just the later ones with a rendered finish)
