When we used to visit Goosnargh to check on father in law,we used to go to Seniors fish and chips in Normoss.Well now he has been here a week,he has asked to go to a fish and chip plaice here.So tomorrow we go to Murgatroyds near Yeadon Airport. So i have been looking at the menu and the FB page,oh i got a very silly idea to post a remark, but i thought better of it.But what they had posted was a picture of two electric charging ports.Well if you know M's it's clients are rather aged.I was going to ask did they have charging ports inside for pacemakers. But seeing as i don't want to get banned i thought better of it,shame really.

Exactly. Sadly time catches up to all of us.

I'm running away as much as I can

unfortunately my doctor seems to keep trying to hold me back!

my wife seems to think that my "brain" and sense of "humour" might be the part doing best at keeping ahead

There were a few incident over the weekend withe her brother who is a notorious joker
I destroyed him!!!

which is very unlike me - I am normally very sensible and calm and mature
only my wife knows the horrors that lie within

My doctor told me to run to help keep control of my weight.

I promptly got plantar fasciitis and knackered my achilles and thus put on loads of weight while I was immobilised.

I get that sort of thing
that and my knee that often joins in due to me walking a bit differently due to pain from the others

I started cycling again because the impact from running (at all) and walking (too much) tend to annoy the bits in my legs
cycling seems to avoid - but that is one reason why I only used an ebike - easier to get home if something start complaining!
(the other reason is asthma!!)

Not achieved anything today, but my man flu is a bit better,
made spaghetti cheese for lunch and syrup sponge pudding and custard it was nice.
Ordered a large hold all for my new RC car so I can carry it around and take to the park
as it is too fast for the garden, 65mph on tarmac, not too sure how it will go on grass,
but should get 45mph + if the grass is short.

Great technology of our times. Electronic passport gates. At Nice departures slowly but surely each gate for our queue shut down. The one remaining gate took 3-4 minutes to clear each passenger........THEN, because we are no longer in the EU, we have to go to the one open booth to have the exit date stamped in our passports by a passport officer!!!!!!!!

Landing in Liverpool there were 10 - 12 manned/womaned booths. We got through passport control in no time.......

........Mrs P has popped out to discuss Bruce plans for tomorrow night........we always go with our great friends who live next door but one.

Not for much longer as our estimed leader Sir Keir, has done some sort of deal with the EU, and passport control using the E gates abroad is part of it. 😁
If the individual countries agree.🤔
