Get lots of buzzards around here although I tend to see them more in autumn sitting on the telegraph poles. The other day I cycled past a field where farmer was harvesting silage and a lot of red kites were around the circling field to catch any mice etc revealed. I stopped to take a few photos but inevitably they didn't come close enough for a good shot.

Hint : one is above hedge between telegraph wires.

They're going round anticlockwise. Normal direction would be clockwise. All mowers mounted to cut on the right hand-side of the tractor, and feeding in that direction to the trailers.

A friend of mine has the use of his sister's cottage in Suffolk. There is no telly, but there is an aerial on the roof. Several times a year they get threatening letters, this has happened for twenty years or more. Nothing ever happens.

I don't even have an aerial.

If they ever knock I'll tell them to get me an aerial and fit it for me and I'll pay their prat tax.

Not that I expect they'll ever knock.
