No. Its raining, but we have a large surface area on the log store roof where the runoff from the roof is used to fill the water butt's from the gutters and past knowledge of how quick the water butt's fill is the measure that we use.

Finally I got everything done. That was important. I didn't feel like doing anything today but knew if I didn't I'd feel very frustrated. House is clean, tidy, been to visit #2 son and had takeaway curry for tea.

We've had almost 24 hours of soft, gentle rain. The very best sort of rain. The allotment is very well watered. The soil perfect for onion planting tomorrow.

I've some emails to send. I can crack on with those in the morning.
