Morning.
Dry, sunny and looks like a ride my bike day. Excellent.
First though tea for wife then I'll be brewing coffee with the beans I bought on my ride the other day. Hopefully they are freshly roasted, it's makes a difference to the crema don't you know.
Then a haircut as I'm in need of a trim.

Morning all :hello:

Back to civilisation - well, at least I've got Internet access now!
Makes one realise just how much we rely on modern technology.
Had a nice few days away with our mates in Dorset, but my, they have some expensive pubs there! £15 for a sandwich and well over £5 a pint?! Not naming names, but the Walnut Tree in Mere - I'm looking at you.
Got some caravan cleaning and sorting to do today before we have a stroll down to Watchet harbour for a (sensibly) priced lunch and pint.

Morning

been out and back - had to go for a blood test
no idea how that place works - they always seem to start late
they didn;t come out to get the first group of people until 10 past 9
and they had an appointment at 10 TO nine

so those of us who had an appointment at 9 didn't get seen until nearly 9 30

still -

in better news the Red Arrows are stopping over at Liverpool Airport
landing on Saturday at about 4 45
leaving about 3 on Sunday

might take my bike down there and watch them if it isn;t raining
which seems to be a big IF looking at the forecast!

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I had to go to Dolgellau yesterday. To get there I had to traverse the Bwlch, a very steep road between hills. Its where lots of people go to see the various jets flying through the mountain range. I saw a couple of jets on the way back.

I'm not a fan of that road. My ears pop, it's so high, and if someone has to slow right down, it can make getting up there a bit of a faff as you lose revs and it's not easy to increase speed again once that happens

Maybe cycle it next time, it's one of the key climbs in The Dragon Ride.
